God is using simple shoebox gifts, prayerfully packed in Canada, to change lives for eternity. Operation Christmas Child is equipping local churches in over 100 countries to share the Gospel and deliver shoebox gifts at child-friendly outreach events. Operation Christmas Child demonstrates God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world and, together with the local church worldwide, shares the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Operation Christmas Child
Pack a shoebox. Change a life.
At Unionville Alliance Church, we aim to touch our world Jesus, one life at a time... and during the OCC season, one shoebox at a time!
Since 2021, UAC has been a central drop-off location for OCC, where people from all over Markham bring their shoe boxes to us on National Collection Week (November 16 - 21). Once the boxes are collected, they are sent to the collection center in Mississauga to be inspected and sorted, then sent to Children around the world!

What is Operation Christmas Child?
How can I Help?
Here's how you can help Operation Christmas Child this year:
Grab & Pack a Shoebox: Unionville Alliance Church has foldable shoeboxes that you will be able to pick up during office hours or Sunday mornings. Fill the shoebox and bring it back to us on National Collection Week (November 16-21).
With every lovingly packed shoebox, a $12 donation is critical for Operation Christmas Child shoebox collecting, processing, and shipping, as well as ministry partner training and Gospel materials. When you make that donation online, you will receive a special QR-code label to affix to your shoebox. After your gift has shipped across the globe, you will receive an email sharing its destination country!
Pack with Us: Young families, join us on November 7 at 7:00 PM as we have a shoebox packing party. Older kids and youth will have their own packing party on November 14.
Volunteer for National Collection Week: We are looking for joyful and willing volunteers to welcome people to UAC, and pack dozens of shoeboxes into cartons! Please sign up through the link below. If you are able to, please sign up for the 1:30-4:30 time slots as often more shoe boxes are dropped off by churches during working hours.
Volunteer at the Processing Center: We have the privilege to volunteer at the Collecting Center in Mississauga this year! We will be checking shoe boxes to make sure the children receiving them are safe and that they are able to pass through customs. We will be working in a warehouse, so all participants will need to be over 14 years old at the time of the event. We look forward to serving with you! If you are interested and available, please sign up through the link below.
