Prayer
A House of Prayer
Jesus said, 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." (Mark 11:17) At Unionville Alliance Church, we believe prayer is not just something we do—it’s who we are. Prayer anchors us in God’s presence, unites us as His people, and fuels the mission He has given us.
When we gather to pray, we are reminded that the work of the church does not depend on our strength or strategies, but on the power of the Holy Spirit. Together, we seek His guidance, intercede for one another, and call on Him to move in our city and beyond.
We invite you to join us as we pursue becoming a true house of prayer.
Before Service Prayer
Every Sunday, beginning September 7, we gather at 9:40 am in the office to pray before worship. This is a time to invite God’s Spirit to move in our services, to lift up our leaders, and to prepare our own hearts to encounter Him.
After Service Prayer
Each Sunday, following the service, our prayer team is available to pray with anyone in need. Whether you are seeking guidance, healing, or simply someone to stand with you in faith, we believe God meets us powerfully when we pray for one another.
Weekly Tuesday Prayer (Hybrid)
On Tuesdays from 7:00–8:00 pm, we gather as a church family for a dedicated hour of prayer. You can join us in person or online through Zoom at uachome.org/pray.
This weekly rhythm runs September 9 to December 9, and resumes again January 14, 2026 to June 30, 220. Whether in the room or online, we unite our hearts to seek God together.
40 Days of Prayer
We begin 40 Days of Prayer on January 1, 2026—a focused journey of seeking God together for renewal in our church, our families, and our community.
You can choose to pray with us daily at 7:00 am or 7:00 pm. To join a prayer group, simply text “7 am” or “7 pm” to 647-931-0015 and you’ll be added to the group.
Join a Prayer Team
Prayer is the foundation of every ministry. You can be part of a team that specifically covers ministries like Alpha or our Summer Camps in prayer. These teams intercede faithfully before, during, and after events, asking God to change lives and reveal His love.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
