A life that praises God on Sunday but tears people down during the week reveals a deeper inconsistency that cannot be ignored. True spiritual maturity is seen in our speech. While no one can tame the tongue on their own, this passage drives us to a deeper dependence on God, inviting Him to transform our hearts so that our words begin to reflect His character.
