Vision 2025 - 2026

Touching our world through Jesus Christ, one life at a time!

In our Vision 2025 series, we are stepping boldly into the future God is calling us toward. Together, we will explore five life-changing themes that shape who we are as a church and as followers of Jesus. We begin with A Prayerful Vision, where we discover how prayer is not just something we do, but the very lifeline that draws us into God’s presence and unleashes His power among us. From there, we move to A Gospel Vision, where we encounter the good news that transforms our lives with hope, renewal, and freedom. Next, we embrace A Missional Vision, where everyday lives are ignited with eternal purpose and we realize that every conversation, every act of kindness, and every step of faith can echo across the world. A Sacrificial Vision then calls us to lay down our own agendas in love and service, finding true abundance in giving ourselves away for the sake of others. Finally, we culminate with A Jesus Vision, anchoring everything in the person of Christ—the One we follow, the One we proclaim, the One who changes everything.

These five themes are not just ideas; they are invitations to transformation. They invite us to become a people who pray boldly, believe courageously, live missionally, serve sacrificially, and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Together, they shape a vision that will not only impact our church, but also ripple outward into our community and beyond. As Unionville Alliance Church, our vision remains: to touch our world through Jesus Christ, one life at a time. Join us on this journey as we catch a fresh glimpse of what God can do when His people live with a vision shaped by His heart.

A Prayerful vision

Imagine a church where prayer is not an afterthought but the driving force of everything we do. In A Prayerful Vision, we will see that prayer is more than words—it is the breath of our spiritual lives, the place where heaven meets earth, and the channel through which God’s power flows. Prayer transforms not only circumstances but people, shaping us into men and women who walk in step with the Spirit.

This message will invite us to reclaim prayer as the center of our lives and our church. When we pray, we open the door for God to do what only He can do: healing the broken, reconciling relationships, breaking strongholds, and transforming lives. Prayer is where revival begins, where hope is reborn, and where ordinary people are empowered to do extraordinary things through the power of the Spirit of God.

A prayerful vision is about more than moments on our knees; it’s about cultivating a culture where prayer saturates our worship, our homes, our workplaces, and our community. It is about being a people who carry the presence of God into every situation. As we lean into this calling, we will discover that prayer doesn’t just change what happens around us—it changes us. And when we are changed, our family, church, community and world will also be changed!

A Gospel Vision

What if the most life-changing question you could ask is simply: Who is Jesus? In A Gospel Vision, we lean into exactly that: encountering the person of Jesus, not just as a figure from history, but as the living, present source of transformation in our lives. This message features the Alpha film “Who Is Jesus?” with an invitation to pause our assumptions and explore: What claims did Jesus make about Himself? What evidence supports them? Who did He say He was, and why does that matter for us today?

We will be challenged not to treat Jesus as one influential teacher among many, but to consider His claims of divine identity, His unique invitation to abundant life, and the radical hope found in following Him. A Gospel Vision calls us into deeper discovery. When Jesus said, “Come to me all who are weary, and I will give you rest,” He wasn’t offering mere comfort, He was offering Himself! To discover who Jesus is, is to encounter One who forgives, restores, and redefines us. This message won’t just speak about His impact, but it will invite you to experience the gospel through a profound, intimate relationship with Him.

Join us as we give ourselves space to discover who Jesus truly is. When we see Him clearly, embrace His mercy, follow His way, and carry His love into our world, we will discover the abundant life that He calls us into for all eternity.

A Missional vision

What if your ordinary life could have an eternal impact? In A Missional Vision, we will discover that mission is not reserved for a select few or a far-off field—it is the calling of every follower of Jesus, right where we are. God’s mission is unfolding across the street and across the globe, and He invites us to be part of it.

This message will challenge us to live with eyes wide open, seeing every encounter as an opportunity to reflect Christ. Our workplaces, schools, homes, and neighborhoods become mission fields where God’s love is displayed in word and action. Living missionally is not about adding more to our schedules—it’s about infusing God’s purpose into everything we already do.

A missional vision empowers us to see beyond ourselves. It reminds us that we are ambassadors of the Kingdom, called to bring reconciliation, hope, and love to a broken world. When we live missionally, we discover that every act of kindness, every prayer spoken, every invitation extended can echo in eternity. Together, we can be part of God’s story of redemption, touching lives near and far with the good news of Jesus Christ. Let’s see God’s Kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven!

A sacrificial vision

What if true greatness is found not in what we gain, but in what we give? In A Sacrificial Vision, we are called to embrace a way of life that mirrors the very heart of Jesus: the One who gave everything so we could live. Sacrifice in the Kingdom of God is not about loss; it is about discovering the richness of life when we lay ourselves down in love.

This message will inspire us to see sacrifice not as duty but as privilege. When we serve others, when we give generously, when we put the needs of others before our own, we step into a life of deeper joy and lasting significance. Sacrificial living shapes us into the likeness of Christ and allows His love to flow freely through us. It is following His example, His servant-minded heart, and His way of living.

A sacrificial vision redefines success. It teaches us that the most meaningful life is not built on possessions or accomplishments, but on pouring ourselves out for the sake of others. This kind of living creates ripple effects: strengthening our church, blessing our community, and pointing the world to Jesus. Sacrifice is the language of love, and when we choose it, we step into the fullness of life God designed for us.

A Jesus vision

What if everything we are and everything we do was centered on one person—Jesus Christ? In A Jesus Vision, we return to the heart of it all. Jesus is not one option among many; He is the way, the truth, and the life. To see with a Jesus vision is to see clearly, live boldly, and love deeply.

This message will invite us to align every aspect of our lives with Christ. Following Jesus is not about religion but relationship, not about rules but transformation. A Jesus vision means becoming disciples who grow in His likeness and make disciples who reflect His love. It is about walking so closely with Him that His character becomes our character, His mission becomes our mission, and His heart becomes our heart.

A Jesus vision transforms us individually and corporately. It fuels our worship, deepens our community, and drives our mission. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, we find purpose, power, and hope that cannot be shaken. This is the vision that ties everything together. This is the vision that will carry us forward. And this is the vision we must embrace—not just for a season, but for a lifetime.
