The Habit of Prayer

Jesus modelled a habit of prayer to the disciples that was attractive, powerful, and meaningful. It resulted in them asking Jesus to teach them how to pray. He taught them about prayer through his life, the Lord’s prayer, and parables illustrating the importance of prayer. Through the parables of the Friend at Midnight, the Persistent Widow, and the Pharisee and Tax Collector, we learn the value of prayer and the critical role in plays in our spiritual journey.
