In the past couple weeks, there has been a change. The manse that once stood next door to our main church building was torn down. It had served many uses for us over the years, and it was time to say goodbye as it stood empty for too long. It's sad to see it go, especially for those who hold fond memories of the place. Remember when it was the home of our custodians and their two dogs? Or when a pastor and his family lived there? Or perhaps you were counselled there when we made it into an office space? Or did you enjoy meeting people there after the service for our cafe time?
Many people could tell you a story or two involving the manse, but we're a church that moves forward and looks to the future.
